This October 2nd MAD are proud to announce the first of many drum clinics in the West Midland area.

We’re kicking off with the incredible Bobby Arechiga, easily one of the most entertaining and knowledgeable clinicians in the entire country.

Originally born in Los Angeles California, and now based in Sheffield, Bobby has traveled the world for a lifetime as a performing musician.

Throughout his professional career, he’s worked with many legendary recording artists, producers and musicians (Paul Gilbert, Mark Stein, Andy Johns, Ronnie James Dio, Strongheart, AC/DC’s George Young and Harry Vanda, Screaming Lord Sutch, Trevor Boulder, Eliot Kennedy and John Parr to namedrop but a few).

In addition to this, Bobby also recorded various Nintendo Game Soundtracks (drums and voice overs) including House Of The Dead: Overkill, and Top Gun, as well as film soundtracks including The Bedroom Window (with Mark Stein’s Dangerzone) and The Doghouse (with Joe Rose and the Guild).

But most importantly, aside from Bobby’s epic CV, he’s also one of the foremost British drum educators today. Teaching at his private studio, in schools, at seminars, drum masterclasses and numerous high profile UK drum events on a yearly basis has become a very important part of his musical quest and his highly contagious enthusiasm for the instrument is a true testament to this.

Expect a great night of drumming, entertainment, jokes, more drumming, tales from the road, more jokes, even more drumming and food too!

Doors open at 6:00pm. Tickets are £5 in advance (see below) or £7 on the door

As one of the premier providers of drum lessons in the Birmingham & West Midlands areas we pride ourselves on our fantastic facilities. We proudly endorse of some of the industry’s most prolific manufacturers including Tama drum kits, Dream cymbals and Aquarian drum heads and as such have secured a fantastic setup of professional level equipment.

The teaching room is a bright and strategically laid out room eqipped with two top of the range Tama Starclassic drum kits, generously kitted out with a fantastic set of Dream cymbals and Aquarian drum heads. The blissful utilization of 2 drum kits side by side also means that unlike most other drum tuition you won’t have to keep standing up and moving so that the tutor can demonstrate. In addition to this, our teaching room also makes use of a 500watt PA system making it possible for us to augment lessons with music, backing tracks, digital metronomes and more.
